Cailee Spaeny Wore Miu Miu at Hotel Excelsior During Venice Film Festival 2026

Cailee Spaeny brought a softer, romantic mood to the 83rd Venice International Film Festival on September 7, stepping out at the Hotel Excelsior Lido pier in a pretty cream Miu Miu dress.
The American actress, known for acclaimed performances in Priscilla, Civil War and Alien: Romulus, has become a familiar face at Venice, and this year's festival has once again given her plenty of opportunities to experiment with fashion. She also took part in the Miu Miu Women’s Tales programme at the Hotel Excelsior, joining Thuso Mbedu for the September 7 conversation Other Realms: Acting Across Space, Time and Fantasy.
For her latest arrival, Spaeny chose a sleeveless, ankle-length cream Miu Miu dress with a relaxed, straight silhouette. The pale fabric featured a subtle, almost barely-there floral pattern, keeping the overall look delicate rather than overly polished.
The real focal point was the neckline. A wide, softly gathered ruffle trimmed in green and pink framed her shoulders and neckline, while fine green ties fell loosely from one side. A small black Miu Miu label at the front added a distinctly playful touch to the otherwise feminine design.
Spaeny styled the dress with a structured brown Miu Miu mini bag, which added a warm contrast to the creamy palette. On her feet were tan strappy sandals with low heels, making the outfit feel particularly appropriate for a daytime arrival rather than a formal red-carpet appearance.
Her beauty look was equally effortless. Spaeny wore her brunette hair loose with a center part and soft, natural waves, while her makeup stayed fresh and understated, with softly defined eyes, rosy cheeks and a natural pink lip.
The setting was fitting, too. The historic Hotel Excelsior has long been closely associated with the Venice Film Festival and remains one of the main places where stars arrive, pose for photographers and attend festival events.
