Daisy Edgar-Jones Wears Alexander McQueen Military Jacket for "Sense and Sensibility" Press

Daisy Edgar-Jones took her "Sense and Sensibility" press tour from red carpet romance to combat-ready cool in a single day. Less than 24 hours after channeling an 18th-century oil painting in custom Vivienne Westwood at the film's London premiere, the "Normal People" and "Twisters" star was spotted leaving BBC Radio 1 on September 16 in a completely different kind of statement piece.

Daisy wore a cropped ivory jacket from Alexander McQueen's Spring 2026 collection, straight off the runway. The piece featured a structured stand collar, sharp shoulder padding, and rows of decorative silver braiding running down the front, a design nodding to the "Napoleon jacket" style historically inspired by 18th-century French military uniforms, though without the traditional epaulettes. Styled by Dani Michelle, Daisy let the jacket do all the visual work, pairing it with a barely-there white bustier underneath, slouchy low-rise blue jeans, and pointed cream pumps.

She finished the look with dark rectangular sunglasses and her brunette hair pulled back into a low, slightly loose ponytail with soft face-framing pieces left down. The mix of formal military tailoring against faded denim gave the outfit an off-duty, cool-girl edge, while still nodding to the Georgian setting of the film without tipping into costume territory.

This isn't Daisy's first time collaborating with McQueen's historically rich house codes, she wore a custom corset gown covered in heritage lace to the 2026 Met Gala, and kicked off this press tour with an empire-waist McQueen dress referencing the Georgian era.
