Daisy Edgar-Jones Wore Stella McCartney at Dublin "Sense and Sensibility" Premiere
Daisy Edgar-Jones wore a feathered white Stella McCartney gown with Boucheron jewelry to the Dublin premiere of "Sense and Sensibility."
Daisy Edgar-Jones kept her "Sense and Sensibility" press tour streak alive with yet another standout red carpet moment, this time in Dublin. The "Normal People" and "Twisters" star arrived at The Stella Cinema Rathmines on September 17 for the Irish premiere of the Jane Austen adaptation, where she once again plays eldest Dashwood sister Elinor.
Daisy wore a white silk gown from Stella McCartney, featuring a plunging V-neckline and a fitted, bias-cut silhouette that skimmed her frame down to the floor. What set the piece apart was the dramatic feathered detailing draped over both shoulders, soft, textured plumes that added volume and movement against the otherwise sleek, minimal satin base. The look felt airy and a little otherworldly, fitting for an actress currently living inside a period literary world.
She paired the gown with jewelry from Boucheron, continuing a partnership she's leaned on throughout this press tour, along with satin sandals that kept the focus on the dress's texture. Daisy wore her brunette hair in a loosened, slightly tousled updo with soft face-framing pieces and a fringe left down, and her makeup stayed soft and era-appropriate, subtle pink blush and a natural lip.
This marks Daisy's second stop on the "Sense and Sensibility" carpet in as many days, having also worn a custom Vivienne Westwood gown with archival 1877 Boucheron pieces at the film's earlier stop. Director Georgia Oakley's adaptation, also starring CaitrÃona Balfe, Esmé Creed-Miles, George MacKay, and Fiona Shaw, is a faithful retelling of Austen's 1811 novel and hits UK theaters September 25, followed by a US release on October 16.
