Jennifer Lopez's 74-Carat Paraiba Tourmaline Necklace Once Belonged to Kitty Spencer's Closet

Jennifer Lopez joined a long list of high-profile guests at Vogue World: Milano 2026, held at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II on September 22. Decked out head-to-toe in Dolce & Gabbana, the "Atlas" and "Hustlers" star wore a statement necklace with a surprising connection to the late Princess Diana's family.

To accessorize her strapless, off-the-shoulder black ball gown from Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Moda 2026 collection, Lopez wore the brand's Alta Gioielleria Paraiba tourmaline and diamond necklace, along with a set of coordinating diamond drop earrings. The centerpiece is a 74.459-carat Paraiba tourmaline from Mozambique, set in white gold and surrounded by roughly 800 diamonds totaling more than 57 carats. The vivid blue-green stone stood out sharply against her black gown, becoming the real focal point of the whole look. She kept everything else minimal, wearing her hair in soft, loose waves parted down the middle with a glowing, bronzed complexion and a bold pink lip.

The necklace isn't new to the red carpet. About a year earlier, on October 25, 2025, Lady Kitty Spencer wore the same necklace and matching earrings to the first Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie in Monaco, where she accepted an award on Dolce & Gabbana's behalf and paired it with a pale gold Alta Moda gown. Spencer is Princess Diana's niece, the daughter of Diana's brother Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer, who recently published the book Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.

Lopez didn't just sit still in the jewelry, either. At one point during the Milan event, she was pulled from her seat and led into the center of the Galleria, where she danced and spun for the crowd, letting the necklace catch the light with every turn.
