Sienna Miller Balmain leather jacket New York street style

Sienna Miller took a sharper turn than usual while promoting her new HBO series War around New York City. The English actress, who broke out in 2004's Alfie and has since built a career spanning American Sniper, Anatomy of a Scandal and Horizon: An American Saga, stepped out on September 25 in a structured look from Balmain's Fall/Winter 2026 collection, designed by Antonin Tron.

Miller wore Balmain's signature leather jacket in glossy black, cut with an asymmetrical front fastening and exaggerated, structured shoulders. The design actually traces back to a 1975 Air France uniform that Pierre Balmain created for the airline's first female aviators, giving the sharp, boxy shape a real piece of fashion history behind it. She paired the jacket with low-waisted wool-satin trousers in matching black, keeping the whole outfit in one tonal palette from head to toe.

She finished the look with black strappy heeled sandals and sleek black sunglasses, letting her blonde hair fall loose and slightly tousled around her shoulders. The exaggerated shoulders on a petite frame made for a bolder statement than her usual red-carpet style, marking a slightly edgier direction throughout this press run.

Miller later changed into a far more casual vintage Lou Reed T-shirt and jeans for her evening appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, but kept the same black strappy sandals from this look, tying her day of press together. War, her latest project, adds to a run of high-profile television work that includes Extrapolations and Anatomy of a Scandal.
