Sienna Miller Ditches Designer for a Vintage Lou Reed T-Shirt on The Tonight Show

Sienna Miller proved a T-shirt and jeans can still be a red-carpet-worthy outfit. The English actress, who broke out in 2004's Alfie and has since starred in American Sniper, Anatomy of a Scandal and Horizon: An American Saga, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 25 while promoting her new HBO series War.

Miller had arrived at NBC Studios earlier in structured Balmain, but changed before her sit-down into a vintage Lou Reed "New York" tour T-shirt, styled by Alexandra Cronan and Kate Foley. The graphic tee was laid out like a newspaper front page, with "New York" in bold type up top and Reed's name and image running alongside it, a nod to his 1989 album of the same name. She tucked the tee into a pair of vintage Levi's 501s, rolling the sleeves for a relaxed, effortless finish.

The jewelry and shoes did the work of dressing it up. Miller wore a diamond pendant necklace and kept the same Jude the Brand Mixer sandals from her structured Balmain leather jacket look earlier that day, a small detail that tied her two very different looks together. Her hair was swept into a loose, piece-y updo, letting a few strands fall around her face for the interview.
