Song Jia Wears Saint Laurent Leather and Denim at Andy Warhol Exhibition

Song Jia brought an effortlessly polished take on everyday dressing to Beijing, stepping out in a head-to-toe Saint Laurent look for the opening of Andy Warhol’s Banal Objects exhibition.

The Chinese actress and singer, who is also Saint Laurent’s brand ambassador for China, embraced the house’s signature mix of strong tailoring and relaxed glamour. She wore a rich brown lambskin leather jacket featuring a loose, slightly oversized shape, wide sleeves and a structured collar. The jacket was styled with classic blue high-rise jeans, giving the luxurious leather a more casual, lived-in feel.

Adding another standout element to the outfit was Saint Laurent’s medium Simone bag in olive suede. The large, softly structured bag brought an earthy contrast to the deep brown jacket and blue denim, while its gold-toned Double Cassandre detail added a refined finishing touch. The Simone is a newer Saint Laurent design inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s personal letters and vintage envelope pouches from the 1970s and 1980s, making it a particularly fitting accessory for the retro-leaning outfit.

Song Jia kept the jewelry simple but striking. Oversized gold Saint Laurent Small Cassandre earrings framed her face, while a sculptural Wavy cuff bracelet added another flash of gold at her wrist. The pushed-up sleeves of the leather jacket helped show off the bracelet and kept the styling relaxed rather than overly formal.

Her beauty look was equally understated. Song Jia wore her dark hair pulled back into a sleek low bun, leaving the statement earrings completely visible. Soft, natural-looking makeup, defined eyes and a muted lip kept the focus on the outfit.

The event took place at Saint Laurent Rive Droite Beijing, where Andy Warhol’s Banal Objects exhibition is on view from September 22 through November 26, 2026. The exhibition brings together Warhol photographs of everyday objects created in the late 1970s.
