Samara Weaving Wears a Cobalt "Villain Teen" Valentino Top at the Antibiblioteca Show in Paris
Samara Weaving wore a cobalt Valentino Villain Teen top, brown trousers and fuchsia pumps to the Valentino Antibiblioteca show in Paris.
Samara Weaving kept it simple and bright at Valentino. The Australian actress and model, known for Ready or Not, The Babysitter and Mayfair Witches, sat front row at the label's "Antibiblioteca" Spring/Summer 2027 show on Sunday, October 4, and she brought a big hit of color to the library.
The star of her outfit was a glossy, electric cobalt top with a high neck and short sleeves, fitted close to the body like a second skin. Across the chest, it carried white serif lettering that says "Villain Teen," a play on Valentino's name that also showed up on baseball caps in the collection. She tucked it into high-waisted chocolate-brown trousers with deep pleats and a very subtle pinstripe, which fell in a wide, relaxed leg to the floor. A black croc-embossed belt with a gold buckle held it all together.
The accessories brought the fun. Samara carried a small black quilted bag with studs, floral embroidery and a chain strap, and she wore pointed fuchsia pumps with gold studs on the toes and heel. The hot pink against the blue and brown made the color mix feel playful. Her blonde hair was center-parted in big, loose, golden waves swept over one shoulder, and she went for sharp winged liner and a glossy pink-nude lip with a deep red manicure.
The slogan couldn't be more timely for Samara. She plays Emma Frost in Marvel's upcoming X-Men reboot, and fans have been joking about her "villain" era ever since the cast was announced at D23. Her fellow cast member Inde Navarrette is also deep in prep for her part, and you can read about how Inde is preparing to play Rogue. The movie opens May 5, 2028.
The show took place under the iron arches of the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, where creative director Alessandro Michele asked every guest to bring a book to donate. His idea came from the "antilibrary," a collection of unread books, which he compared to the beautiful clothes sitting unworn in his closet.
Mika Abdalla was at the same show in a very different look, a sheer olive-green Valentino dress with a giant lilac flower.
