Tate McRae Wears a Black Versace Minidress Leaving The Ritz in Paris
Tate McRae wore a black Versace bustier minidress with a ruffled hem and sleek ponytail leaving The Ritz in Paris during Fashion Week.
Tate McRae is making the most of Paris Fashion Week, and her latest outing was all about little black dress glamour. The Canadian singer, songwriter and dancer, known for hits like "Greedy," "Sports Car" and "You Broke Me First," was photographed at night leaving The Ritz Hotel in a black Versace minidress that fit the mood of the city.
The dress was a mix of sultry and playful. The top had a ruched, bustier-style bodice with a sweetheart neckline, held up by thin black straps with silver medallion hardware at the clasps. A gathered drop waist led into a short, flared skirt with a ruffled, asymmetric hem that bounced and fluttered as she walked, so it rode high on her thighs with every step.
She kept the accessories sleek. Tate carried a small black clutch in front of her and wore pointed black pumps with a glossy, textured finish, which matched the shine of the dress fabric. The all-black palette let the shape and movement of the skirt do the talking.
Her hair and makeup were polished too. Tate pulled her honey-blonde hair back into a smooth, low ponytail with a few face-framing strands. She went for smoky eyes, a touch of blush and a soft nude-pink lip, with a pale pink manicure.
This was her second Versace moment of the week. When she first landed in Paris on September 28, she wore a vintage black Versace silk minidress, paired with a Dior Diva bag. She seems to love Versace, and her vintage 1998 Gianni Versace dress at Variety's Power of Young Hollywood showed that earlier this summer. Black is a favorite too, as she proved at the Grammys in a custom black Balenciaga gown. For something more casual, check out her Calvin Klein denim campaign.
Paris is just one stop on a busy calendar. Tate is also expected at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 18.
