Tate McRae Wears a Plunging Ivory Satin Schiaparelli Two-Piece to the Spring 2027 Show
Tate McRae wore a plunging ivory satin Schiaparelli two-piece and gold clutch to the Spring 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week on October 1.
Tate McRae has been wearing a lot of black in Paris, so ivory was a surprise. The 23-year-old Canadian singer, songwriter and dancer, known for "Greedy," "Sports Car" and "You Broke Me First," swapped her dark palette for something creamy and glamorous at the Schiaparelli Spring/Summer 2027 ready-to-wear show on Thursday, October 1. She arrived dressed head to toe in Schiaparelli, to a wall of camera flashes and a crowd of fans.
The outfit was a satin two-piece that felt very Old Hollywood. The fitted jacket had a deeply plunging V-neckline, long slim sleeves and a nipped waist, with a curved, notched hem that hugged her hips like a peplum. Underneath, she wore a matching bias-cut satin maxi skirt that skimmed her figure and fell to the floor in soft, liquid folds. The shiny fabric caught the late-afternoon light as she walked. Sharp tailoring with a sensual edge is a good fit for the house under creative director Daniel Roseberry.
She added a gold metallic clutch with a sculpted, nose-shaped clasp, one of the surreal details the house is known for. On her feet, she wore cream pointed pumps with ankle straps that matched the dress.
Tate's hair was the highlight of the beauty look. Her honey-blonde hair was styled into big, bouncy, side-swept waves with plenty of volume. Her makeup looked bronzed and glowy, with softly winged brown eyeliner, a glossy nude lip and a pale, milky manicure.
Naomi Ackie wore a shimmering black gown to the show, and Caroline Daur and Leonie Hanne also attended. It was Tate's third big Paris moment this week. She arrived in town on September 28 in vintage Versace, and the day before this show she wore a black strapless Tom Ford jumpsuit to the Tom Ford show. She also wore a black Versace bustier minidress leaving The Ritz at night. If you love her formal looks, her custom black Balenciaga gown at the Grammys is another one worth seeing.
Tate is expected at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 18.
