Elizabeth Debicki in Ivory Velvet Susie Cave Dress With Feather Trim

Elizabeth Debicki showed up to the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards looking like a snow queen. The ceremony took place in London on Thursday, November 5, and she wore an ivory velvet gown from Weddings and Funerals, the label by Susie Cave.

The dress is a sleek column with a high, softly rounded neckline and no sleeves. The velvet is crushed, so it has a frosty, silvery shine that changes in the light. Then there are the feathers. A thick, fluffy trim wraps around her shoulders and upper chest, almost like a little feather stole, and another band of it finishes the hem. It’s pretty over the top, but the plain velvet in the middle keeps it from feeling too much. A bit Old Hollywood, a bit holiday party.

The jewelry was small. She wore the Shaun Leane Interlocking Ariana Engagement Ring in 18K white gold and nothing else. Deep red nails added the only pop of color. Her blonde hair was parted in the middle and worn down in loose waves, and her makeup was soft, with winged liner and a pink-nude lip.

Elizabeth is the Australian actress known for playing Princess Diana in The Crown, and for Tenet and The Night Manager. She also had a huge fashion year, and you can see her custom Balmain gown at the Academy Museum Gala.
