Mckenna Grace Wears Miss Sohee Couture to the Madrid Premiere

Mckenna Grace is still going full flower power on the Hunger Games press tour. This time she stopped in Madrid for the premiere of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping at Kinepolis Cinema, wearing a Miss Sohee Spring 2024 Couture gown styled by Molly Dickson. And there’s a story behind it. The look is a nod to the custom Givenchy that Jennifer Lawrence wore to the 83rd Golden Globes.

Start with the base. It’s strapless, with a deep plunging neckline and a fitted nude bodice. Then come the flowers. A whole branch of pink blossoms and dark green leaves climbs from the hip across the chest, and a silver beaded peacock runs down the skirt. At the hem there’s a puddle of soft tulle train with a few crystals sprinkled in. Over her arms she draped a huge pale pink satin wrap with puffy, balloon-like sleeves, which gave the whole thing a bit more drama.

The finishing touches were pretty low-key. Sparkly drop earrings and a few diamond-looking rings on her hand, and that’s about it. Her long blonde hair was swept over one shoulder in loose waves. Her makeup was all soft pink, with shimmery shadow, defined lashes and glossy lips.

Mckenna plays Maysilee Donner in the film, and you might know her from Young Sheldon, Gifted and Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Her tour looks have been one flower-themed moment after another, and her custom Cong Tri look in Berlin was another big one.

The movie opens later this month, and she’s clearly not done yet. Earlier on the tour she also wore archival Monique Lhuillier inspired by Katniss’ wedding dress.
