Taylor Swift set to release star studded music video for 'Bad Blood'
Pop star Taylor Swift is set to release a star-studded music video for her song 'Bad Blood' from her latest album '1989'.
The acclaimed singer, whose new album achieved great success, taps some of her closest friends and popular names from the fashion and music industry to star in the video.
Taylor has been posting teaser trailers on her Instagram account revealing the stars of the music video including Hayley Williams, Zendaya, Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid and Ellie Goulding along with Taylor herself.
Though the hit single was rumoured to be about Taylor's tiff with Katy Perry, both who have dated John Mayer, the posters suggest a hard core battle with powerful femme fatales.
The music video is directed by Joseph Kahn and produced by Taylor herself, and the dark and bold posters support the tagline 'Band-aids don't fix bullet holes,' a line from the song centring around the theme of having bad blood from a previous friendship or relationship.
Stars introduced include model Gigi Hadid as 'Slay-Z,' Paramore singer Hayley Williams as 'The Crimson Curse,' Disney star Zendaya as 'Cut-Throat,' model Lily Aldridge as 'Frostbyte,' British singer Ellie Goulding as 'Destructa X,' and the first character introduced to the world was Swift's alter-ego, 'Catastrophe.'
The music video is set to open the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on 17th May, and is also rumoured to include Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne and Kendrick Lamar.
