The collection features a roman-esque tiara with entwined acorn leaves, and a heavy, dramatic, heart shaped pendant which represents hope, on a chunky palladium chain.
Other simpler designs include palladium acorn shaped earrings and a matching necklace. As palladium is a naturally white metal, all pieces sparkle under the light.
Viveinne Westwood is best known for her funky, out of the box designs. The pieces are eccentric and will be available in Viveinne Westwood boutiques in Los Angeles and London from March 2011.
The face of the Get A Life Palladium Jewelry Collection is beautiful model and actress Christina Hendricks. The red-head looks gorgeous in the ad-campaign sporting the wonderful jewelry pieces in off-shoulder, low cut gowns in deep peacock blue and green, which make her flawless features stand out.
Westwood speaks of Hendricks, "Her style is just so complimentary to my designs. She has proved to be the perfect model for the campaign." The affection appears to be mutual as in a separate statement Hendricks says, “I admire that Vivienne uses her designs to inspire change and the pieces are just so wonderful. I love that there are dramatic pieces such as the crown and the heart necklace as well as more simple pieces such as the acorn earrings," Christina adds. "I cannot wait to wear them on the red carpet!”
