British label Motel’s summer 2011 lookbook is the true definition of fun. It is filled with bright colors and funky accessories. The theme for the lookbook may be called a circus theme and the collection has been divided into four smaller collections. The Riveria collection features color block mini dresses with bright prints. The Aloha collection is filled with retro beach prints. Picture Postcard speaks of the 1950s silhouettes; and Secret Garden has a soft floral touch to it. The dresses which appeal to me are the buttoned khaki romper, a white floral mini dress, a corset-style bandage dress, and a lace-trimmed slip dress. The collection has been shot in an outdoor backdrop and I love the circus/retro vibe to it.
