Celebrity Jewelry at the 2014 Golden Globes: Fred Leighton’s Vintage Sparkle
See the vintage Fred Leighton jewels worn by Kerry Washington, Tina Fey, Lupita Nyong’o and more at the 2014 Golden Globes, from Art Deco to pearls.
The dresses at the 2014 Golden Globes got plenty of attention, but some of the best details on the red carpet were the jewels. Vintage jeweler Fred Leighton dressed a whole group of stars in antique and Art Deco pieces, and they looked amazing.
Here's who wore what.
Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington went full Art Deco to show off her baby bump. She wore 1920s diamond pendant earrings in platinum, an Art Deco rock crystal and diamond brooch and a 1920s diamond and onyx ring. See more of Kerry Washington's baby bump look from the night.
Tina Fey
Co-host Tina Fey sparkled in rose-cut diamond pendant earrings with 5-carat drops each, set in silver on gold, plus a rose-cut diamond and enamel ring in gold.
Lupita Nyong'o
Lupita Nyong'o kept her jewelry in warm yellow gold to go with her red Ralph Lauren cape gown. She wore Fred Leighton diamond studs of about 2 carats each, a 4-carat diamond ring from around 1970 and a huge 11-carat cushion-cut diamond ring from around 1950.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus
Julia Louis-Dreyfus went for something softer, with a pair of Victorian antique gold and pearl pendant earrings and a 19th century Etruscan Revival gold and pearl bracelet.
Greta Gerwig
Greta Gerwig, nominated for Frances Ha, had the most fun with her jewelry. She wore 4-carat old-mine diamond drop earrings, Art Deco aquamarine and onyx diamond rings and a 1930s diamond star brooch tucked into her hair.
Tracy Pollan
Tracy Pollan, who was there with husband Michael J. Fox, wore blue chalcedony and diamond chandelier earrings by Fred Leighton, an Edwardian old-mine diamond bombe ring and two platinum diamond chain necklaces.
Savannah Guthrie
Savannah Guthrie kept it simple with a pair of 19th century diamond pendant earrings in silver on gold.
More Golden Globes Jewelry
Fred Leighton wasn't the only jeweler on the red carpet. Jessica Chastain wore a Bulgari necklace, Emma Watson chose Dior's 'Mise en Dior' earrings and Cate Blanchett sparkled in green diamond Chopard earrings.
