The Body Shop Olive Body Scrub Review

While we all know that scrubbing leads to smoother skin, yet we tend to forget this step. A weekly exfoliation is essential for skin that is healthy, smooth, and glowing. There are numerous options available in the market for body scrubs, but somehow I always return to The Body Shop for their products. TBS is a name synonymous with great quality and a delicious blend of natural ingredients. Along with being cruelty free, the label offers a vast variety of scrubs.

After trying out The Body Shop Chocomania Body Scrub, I picked out the Olive body scrub. When you think of olives you might think of the icky smell the preserved olives have, but what attracted me towards this scrub was the fresh and alluring scent of delicious olives. It's a scent that doesn't make you feel like a salad bar, rather takes you to lush green gardens and relaxes your senses. Although the scent doesn't linger on so those who hate the after-scrub smell can easily go for it.

The 200 ml tub brings a generous amount of product that makes it up for its heavy price. The creamy formula has visible tiny granules that don't feel harsh on the skin and dissolve while massaging to offer a gentle moisturizing as well. While some people might prefer tubes to jars and tubs, a more hygienic way to use this product would be with a spoon

The Body Shop Olive Body Scrub can be used once or twice a week as per requirement. It sheds off dry flaky skin and gives skin a soft and refreshing boost. One has to remember not to use it regularly if you have sensitive skin, or use a good moisturizer after it. Also, it's not meant for the face at all.

With extracts of Community Trade Organic Olive Oil, crushed walnut shells, crushed olive stones, and carrot oil, this scrub is the best way to nourish skin and get rid of dullness and dryness. It's best for normal to dry skin, and is available for $20 at all The Body Shop outlets and online.
