Long summer days bring a dull vibe and sometimes all you need is a refreshing wake up call. It's not tea or coffee that will give you that fix, it's The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel! To start your day with a zest, this shower gel is perfect; it has a beautiful citrus scent that instantly lifts up the spirit. It smells like happiness in a bottle, and is almost addictive.

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel is soap free and lathers well. It's liquid consistency is not runny, and the pink colour of the shower gel is pretty too. The intoxicating shower gel doesn't dry out the skin, and includes pink grapefruit seed oil that leaves the skin soft and supple.

The 250 ml bottle comes with a flip-top cap, although I would have preferred this with a pump, as they are easier to handle in the shower. The shower gel can be used as a bubble bath as well, and its heavenly scent invigorates the senses. However, the scent fades after a couple of hours, and the body butter or body purée from this range can be used for a long lasting scent.

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel retails at £4.00, and is available at all TBS outlets and online.
