Pippa Middleton's boyfriend James Matthew popped the big question over the weekend in Lake District, and the socialite said 'yes'!

The 32 year old sister of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, got engaged to her 40 year old hedge fund boyfriend, whom she had been dating since the past year, though they had a brief fling in 2012 too.

While sister Kate's engagement ring is a dazzling 12 carat Ceylon sapphire surrounded by diamonds, Pippa's rock is no less extravagant, and appears to be an asscher or step-cut square diamond set in a cluster of smaller diamonds.

Pippa flaunted her ring given by her wealthy beau when she stepped out of her home, and the ring dazzled in the British sunlight.

The flawless asscher diamond set in an art deco inspired octagonal ring appears to be at least four carats, and surely must be a bespoke piece.

Pippa's ring is estimated to be around £200,000, and the socialite proudly showed it off as she stepped out of her Chelsea home.

The star was all smiles, dressed in a simple white Whistles lace eyelet dress styled with brown sandals and a brown saddle bag, keeping the focus on her impressive rock.

James went the traditional way, seeking permission from Pippa's father before proposing, and the newly engaged couple is said to be planning a 2017 wedding.

The family is said to be delighted over the news, and Pippa, though wasn't expecting the proposal is overjoyed and was quick to agree.
