Model wears bucket hat and one-piece swimsuit in Gucci Towards the Sun summer 2022 campaign

Putting together a vibrant and sophisticated collection for the summer, Gucci heads to Provincetown, Massachusetts. Presenting the 'Towards the Sun' Summer 2022 Campaign, Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele has brought the signature Gucci aesthetic to Cape Cod. Photographed and directed by Julie Greve, the campaign features eye-catching colors and textures, and lightweight fabrics. In one campaign image, the models pose with the Gucci Diana small tote bag, which has a raffia-like effect in beige and leather trim in green. Another picture highlights a different version of the Diana in a blue houndstooth print. The Gucci Horsebit 1955 shoulder bag is also pictured in the campaign, with a view of the beach in the background. Christopher Simmonds  has served as art director for the shoot, and has the cast give off perfect vacationers vibe. Lauren Reynolds has done makeup for the models with Alex Brownswell on hair.

'Pattern defines the selection, from the all-over GG monogram to the seersucker and houndstooth enriching handbags, shoes, and accessories woven from a raffia-effect material, as well as the postcard prints that sweep across ready-to-wear.' - Gucci
