Demna put forth the Balenciaga Fall/Winter 2022/23 Couture Fashion Show today, during the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. Showcased at its historic salons at 10 Avenue George V in Paris, the creative director gave a look at couture into the modern context, with celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman, Christine Quinn, Dua Lipa, BFRND, Eduardo Camavinga and supermodels Naomi Campbell and Bella Hadid walking the couture show. While Reality TV Celebrity turned business entrepreneur Kim K was the walking the runway, her daughter North West and mother Kris Jenner sat in front row seats, supporting her. Also seen in the front row were Korean rapper and singer CL, American rapper Offset, supermodel Alton Mason, Anna Winotur, Euphoria actress Alexa Demie, and many more A-list stars.
Following the runway show, the high-end brand opened its new couture shop, downstairs from the atelier and couture salons, with designs from the runway presented for sale at the shop immediately, inlcuding limited-edition clothes, shoes, accessories and high-tech objects, priced around 3,500 euros for sunglasses, between 10,000 and 15,000 euros for handbags; and the most expensive product for around 100,000 euros.
