Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska, features for American Vogue's October 2022 Digital Issue. She and her husband, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy were photographed in Kyiv by fashion photographer Annie Leibovitz. The photoshoot features styling by Julie Pelipas, with assistance by Nastia Popadianets and Maria Hitcher. The makeup was the work of Svetlana Rymakova, with hair by Igor Lomov. Marina Sandugey- Shyshkina was in charge of the production. The Portrait of Bravery story was photographed inside the presidential office compound and at Antonov Airport, in Hostomel.
