ETRO Vela Bag 2023 Campaign featuring Bianca Balti

Italian fashion house ETRO launches the Vela Bag 2023 Campaign starring top model Bianca Balti. Photographed by fashion photographer Davit Giorgadze, with hair nu Jawara, and makeup by Georgi Sandev, the model shows off the Vela, which is the first bag designed by Marco De Vincenzo for ETRO. The designer, for his boundless journey with the fashion brand, designs a new shape for every day, every place, every woman. The Vela Bag features an aerodynamic shape, and the pointed section takes inspiration from the nautical world and seems to ‘cut’ through the wind like a sail. Alluring and beautiful by design and created like a precious jewel, the Vela bag is a perfect collector’s item, in all its glory. The bag is a distinct contemporary design with its clean lines, and is a celebration of exquisite Italian craftsmanship and manufacturing.

The new Vela bag offers a V-closure along with a special zip fastening. It also comes with a chain with a two-sided medallion and double ETRO/Pegaso logo that is created with the same technique used to make coins. The calfskin bag is available in the shades of black, ivory and gianduia, alongside a rotation of seasonal colors. The bag also has a detachable double shoulder strap, and can be worn on the shoulder or as a cross-body. The leather is cut into panels coupled with a reinforcement, which gives strength to the design, while keeping the softness of the structure. A detail of suede leather lining is provided, with metal feet sewn to the body of the bag. The fastening of the bag is assembled to the body using metal screws, created exclusively for ETRO through a mold of galvanized gold.
