Longoria, for the interview, discusses her desire to have control over the final product of her work, saying, “I want to control the final product of anything I do.” This sentiment is understandable, considering as an actor, Longoria explains, “you don’t have any power over anything. You stand on a mark. You say your line. You go home.”

She also talks about her work ethic, stating, “I’ve never let my foot off the gas.” Her ambition and drive are prominent in her work, as she constantly pushes for more while producing shows and movies. “Ambition could be seen as a bad word,” she admits. “But I have drive. Drive is a better word.”
