Victoria's Secret and PINK Introduce Groundbreaking Adaptive Intimates Collections
Victoria's Secret and PINK introduce innovative adaptive intimates, championing inclusivity in fashion.
In a revolutionary stride reshaping the landscape of fashion inclusivity, Victoria’s Secret and PINK have unveiled their pioneering adaptive intimates collections, aptly named VS & PINK Adaptive. This announcement follows their recent ventures, including the highly acclaimed The Tour ’23 campaign and their venture into the beauty sector with a new haircare line.
The development of these collections was a collaborative effort with GAMUT Management, a trailblazing consulting and talent management firm dedicated to advocating for the needs of individuals with disabilities. This partnership has garnered Victoria’s Secret and PINK the esteemed GAMUT Seal of Approval™, an exceptional certification that underscores the brand’s authentic dedication to inclusivity in both product development and marketing.
What sets these collections apart is the meticulous attention to detail. Far from a solitary endeavor, the development process was woven together with direct feedback from individuals with disabilities. Through wear tests, focus groups, and feedback panels, the brands have expertly crafted products that are not only adaptive but also fashion-forward and exceptionally comfortable.
Janie Schaffer, Chief Design Officer at Victoria’s Secret, expressed her elation, stating, "The availability of VS and PINK Adaptive in our most popular collections is truly remarkable." Lydia Smith, Chief Diversity Officer at Victoria’s Secret, echoed this sentiment, underscoring the pivotal role that women with disabilities played in bringing these collections to life.
The adaptive lines seamlessly extend from the brand’s renowned collections—Body by Victoria and PINK’s Wear Everywhere. They showcase thoughtful modifications, including magnetic closures, sensory-friendly fabrics, and fully adjustable straps, among other innovative features. With prices ranging from $16.50 to $49.95 and a size range encompassing cups B-G and bands 32-44, the collections ensure accessibility without compromising on style.
