Emma Roberts in a New Series: "Second Wife"

A new series is set to hit Hulu with co-stars Emma Roberts and Tom Ellis in the early part of 2024. The name of the series is "Second Wife," and it is from the creator of another hit series on Hulu. Meaghan Oppenheimer started working on the idea of "Second Wife" at the beginning of 2023. Roberts and Ellis were the first names to come up for the upcoming series.

About the Upcoming Series "Second Wife"

The storyline has Roberts playing Sasha, a woman who recently went through a breakup, leaving New York and heading to London, England. Her goal is to start over with a new life. She then meets a man named Jacob, played by Ellis, who is a single divorced father.

The two immediately fall head over heels for one another and decide to get married a little too soon. Neither knows each other well enough, and both have a past that comes back to haunt them. They try to hide it as best as possible, but this dark comedy leaves a twist of events that only Roberts can pull off with her character.

What to Expect with "Second Wife"

With Meaghan Oppenheimer as the creator, the most recent series on Hulu, "Tell Me Lies," is a huge hit. "Second Wife" is expected to follow the same path to success.

With its dark comedy, Roberts and Ellis working together, and the whole set cast, the storyline and series will excite the fans and keep them watching. It is certain to gain more seasons.

It was rough to start, as it was announced in January 2023. The series only had two co-stars and a storyline for the first season. It was supposed to start at the end of the year, but things got pushed back. An official date is yet to come, but the official word is it will happen at the beginning of 2024
