Louis Vuitton is set to unveil the highly anticipated second drop of its Takashi Murakami collaboration, and this time, it’s all about cherry blossoms. Headlined by Zendaya, the campaign embraces the delicate beauty of Japan’s sakura season, infusing the collection with soft pink hues and floral motifs.
Following the first drop in January, this final installment features over 40 exclusive pieces, including the iconic Papillon bag, elegant platform sandals, and reimagined Louis Vuitton classics like the Capucines Mini and OnTheGo tote, now adorned in the house’s signature Monogram canvas.
To build excitement, Louis Vuitton released a campaign video starring Murakami himself, sending a message from Japan to Zendaya in New York, symbolizing the fusion of heritage and contemporary fashion. The collection’s rollout includes immersive pop-up experiences worldwide, offering fans interactive activations, from themed cafés to nostalgic vending machines stocked with exclusive prizes.
The second and final drop of the Louis Vuitton x Murakami collaboration will be available for pre-launch on March 14 via Louis Vuitton’s website, with an official global release in stores on March 21.
