Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are officially married after hosting an extravagant wedding in Venice, Italy. Although the couple was already legally wed, they celebrated in style with a multi-day affair.
On Friday, Bezos, 61, and Sánchez, 55, exchanged vows on San Giorgio Maggiore island surrounded by A-list guests, including Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, Barbra Streisand, Orlando Bloom, and members of the Kardashian-Jenner and Trump families.
Guests were welcomed with a gospel choir performance that included Whitney Houston’s “Higher Love.” The couple sealed their vows with a kiss as friends and family cheered them on.
The wedding weekend, planned by George and Amal Clooney’s team, is estimated to cost $50 million and will conclude with an equally lavish reception.
Bezos and Sánchez began dating in 2019 but kept their relationship private until finalizing their divorces. Sánchez shares three children with former partners, while Bezos has four children with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott.
