Lauren Sánchez married Jeff Bezos in Venice on Friday, wearing a stunning lace Dolce & Gabbana gown with vintage flair. The long-sleeved dress featured a corseted waist, high turtleneck, button detailing down the front, and a mermaid-style skirt.

Sánchez, 55, wore her hair in a sleek bun with soft pieces framing her face under a lace-trimmed veil. For jewelry, she chose Dolce & Gabbana Alta Gioielleria Miracolo earrings with four diamonds cut from a single stone and set in white gold, serving as her “something borrowed,” per Vogue.

Inspired by Sophia Loren’s iconic wedding dress in the 1958 film Houseboat, Sánchez shared, “I wanted something that evokes a moment and where I am right now. I’m a different person than I was five years ago.”

She added, “I researched brides from the 1950s and saw Sophia Loren’s high lace gown. I said, ‘That’s it. That’s the dress.’”
