Jennifer Lopez lit up Istanbul with an unforgettable performance at Festival Park Yenikapi on August 5, as part of the city’s ongoing Istanbul Festival.
The global pop icon kicked off her set with On The Floor, setting the tone for a night of high-energy hits and fan-favorite tracks. Thousands packed the venue, including major names from the worlds of music, film, and art.
“I can’t believe I’m in Istanbul. It’s been a long time — it’s so wonderful to be here with you,” Lopez told the crowd, drawing thunderous applause.
The singer kept the energy up throughout the night, encouraging fans to sing and dance along. “Are you ready to have fun? Will you sing with me?” she asked, hyping the crowd into a frenzy.
Organized by Focus Istanbul Event Management, the performance was a major highlight of the Istanbul Festival, which runs through August 17 and features a packed lineup of concerts, cultural events, and immersive experiences.
Beyond the music, festivalgoers can enjoy international and Turkish cuisine, a theme park, esports tournaments, a vertical wind tunnel, and RopeLand — a massive outdoor rope course adventure.
