Miley Cyrus Becomes the Canvas in Maison Margiela’s Bold AW25 Campaign
Miley Cyrus strips down in Maison Margiela’s AW25 campaign—painted nude, iconic Tabi boots, and fearless self-expression.
Miley Cyrus strips down—literally—in Maison Margiela’s autumn/winter 2025 Avant-Première campaign. In a daring collaboration with Italian photographer Paolo Roversi, the pop star becomes living art: completely nude, save for white paint strokes tracing the curves of her body, and Margiela’s signature cleft-toed Tabi boots adding contrast and edge.
This isn’t simply a fashion moment—it’s a bold reclamation. At 32, Cyrus revisits themes from her infamous 2008 Vanity Fair shoot, only this time she calls the shots. Reflecting on the experience, she says: “Standing naked for a fashion campaign felt major… Margiela and I became one.”.
The visuals extend beyond pure nudity. Another shot pairs a leather moto jacket with, well, nothing beneath—save for a strategically slung purse and avant-garde boots. Elsewhere, she floats in a sheer white dress with a feathered hem, or layers a trench coat over a nude bodysuit. These are femme-forward looks that blend Margiela’s artistic heritage with Cyrus’s audacious persona.
