Brooklyn Beckham Says Victoria Beckham ‘Hijacked’ His Wedding Dance in New Family Feud Claims
Brooklyn Beckham claims Victoria Beckham hijacked his and Nicola Peltz’s first dance and danced ‘inappropriately’ at their 2022 wedding.
Brooklyn Beckham has broken his long silence on the ongoing feud with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and the latest revelation is grabbing headlines around the world. In a series of Instagram posts shared January 19, the 26-year-old opened up about what he calls a deeply uncomfortable moment from his April 2022 wedding to actress Nicola Peltz.
Brooklyn alleges that his mother Victoria Beckham “hijacked” his and Nicola’s first dance, a moment the couple had planned for weeks. According to his account, a friend-performer called him to the stage, and instead of dancing with Nicola, Brooklyn says his mother was waiting for him and took over the spotlight. He wrote that she “danced very inappropriately” on him in front of their 500 guests, leaving him feeling “uncomfortable” and “humiliated.”
The claim has only added fuel to a feud that, by Brooklyn’s telling, stretches back to before the wedding itself. In his posts he also asserted that Victoria pulled out of designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute and that he and his wife have been repeatedly disrespected by his side of the family. Brooklyn said he and Nicola renewed their vows in 2025 to create new memories that “bring joy and happiness instead of anxiety and embarrassment.”
Neither Victoria nor David Beckham have publicly responded to Brooklyn’s allegations. Insiders interviewed by media outlets suggest guests and family members remember the wedding drama differently, with some saying the moment might have been meant as a lighthearted family dance rather than a deliberate interruption.
As the Beckham family story continues unfolding on social platforms, fans and followers are reacting to Brooklyn’s rare candid disclosure about what was supposed to be one of the happiest days of his life.
