Charli XCX Commands the Red Carpet in Corset and Leather at The Moment LA Premiere
Charli XCX stuns at The Moment LA premiere in a custom Gaultier corset, leather shorts, and slingback heels with bold, edgy styling.
Charli XCX made a sharp, unapologetic statement at the Los Angeles premiere of A24’s The Moment, held at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills. The singer arrived in a look that felt bold, intentional, and unmistakably her, turning the red carpet into a personal runway.
For the event, Charli wore a custom corset created by Jean Paul Gaultier in collaboration with Ludovic de Saint Sernin. The structured piece hugged her torso with a steel-blue tone and tight lacing that emphasized a dramatic, sculpted waist. Layered over it was a vintage Alexander McQueen leather bra, domed and architectural, adding a tough, almost industrial edge to the outfit.
Below the corset, she opted for barely-there leather micro shorts from R and M Leather, styled with sheer black tights that featured the film’s title printed high on the thigh. The detail was subtle but clever, tying her look directly to the night’s premiere without feeling forced.
Charli kept her footwear sleek with Saint Laurent Apolline slingback pumps in glossy black patent leather. The pointed toe added polish, balancing out the raw textures up top. In her hand, she carried an oversized cream faux-fur stole, dramatic in scale and intentionally unworn, like a prop pulled straight from backstage.
Her beauty look stayed restrained. Charli wore her jet-black hair down, slightly undone at the front, with muted makeup that let the outfit do the talking. One delicate detail stood out against the heavier styling, a Claude Morady solitaire engagement ring that added a quiet, personal note to the otherwise commanding ensemble.
