Daisy Edgar-Jones Wore Silver Armani Privé Gown to Sense and Sensibility Premiere in Berlin

Daisy Edgar-Jones kept the press tour glamour going at the German premiere of Sense and Sensibility, known there as Sinn und Sinnlichkeit. The English actress, who broke out in the Hulu series Normal People and later starred in Where the Crawdads Sing and Twisters, walked the Berlin carpet on September 21. She plays Elinor Dashwood, the sensible older sister in Georgia Oakley's new take on the Jane Austen novel.

Edgar-Jones wore a silver Armani Privé couture gown with a fitted, bias-cut silhouette that flared into a soft mermaid train at the floor. The bodice had a sweetheart neckline with thin straps, but the real focus was on the shoulders. Draped chains of crystals hung down from each strap in cascading tiers, ending in little tassels, so the effect looked almost like jewelry built straight into the dress. It's a dramatic detail on an otherwise clean, minimal gown.

She added a delicate diamond pendant necklace that echoed the shoulder detail without competing with it, plus a few slim rings. Her chestnut hair was worn down in soft waves with a curtain fringe, and her makeup stayed soft, with warm bronzed eyes and a glossy nude lip.

This is the latest stop on a packed international run for the film. Edgar-Jones wore Vivienne Westwood with a Boucheron pendant at the London premiere, then a white feather-trimmed silk gown for the Dublin premiere alongside co-star Caitríona Balfe. Sense and Sensibility follows sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood as they navigate love and financial uncertainty after their father's death, and also stars Esmé Creed-Miles, George MacKay and Fiona Shaw. The film opens in German cinemas on October 15, with the UK release following on September 25.
