Dakota Johnson Wears Custom Calvin Klein Crystal Fringe Set at Verity NYC Premiere

Dakota Johnson went for all-out sparkle at the New York premiere of Verity. The actress, known for Fifty Shades of Grey and Materialists, plays Verity Crawford in the Amazon MGM Studios thriller. The premiere took place on September 29 at AMC Lincoln Square, and her look was one of the night's most talked-about.

She wore a custom white two-piece from Calvin Klein Collection, designed by creative director Veronica Leoni and styled by Kate Young. The cropped bra top had ultra-thin spaghetti straps and a low neckline, and it was covered in crystal fringe that swung with every move. The matching high-waisted column skirt had iridescent sequin embroidery, a floor-length fall and a dramatic thigh-high slit on one side. Both pieces shimmered under the lights, and the beading did most of the talking.

For jewelry, Dakota added a diamond necklace from Roberto Coin's Cobra collection, made in 18k white gold, and small diamond earrings. She finished the outfit with white Calvin Klein Collection sandals and red-painted nails.

Her hair and makeup kept the drama going. Her dark hair was worn half up in a small top knot, with full, blunt bangs and long, sleek lengths down her back. She finished with a matte wine-red lip, soft smoky eyes and a fresh, glowing base.

Co-star Anne Hathaway joined her on the carpet in a custom Atelier Prabal Gurung look in black. Anne plays Lowen Ashleigh in the film, so the contrast between her black and Dakota's ivory felt pretty fitting for their characters. Josh Hartnett, the third lead, also attended. This was Dakota's second custom Calvin Klein Collection outfit in just a few days, after the blush gown she wore to the MTV VMAs.
