Christina Aguilera Wears Sheer Black Cross-Embellished Bodysuit and Thigh-High Boots at MISTR National PrEP Day

Christina Aguilera clearly didn’t get the memo about dressing down, and thank goodness for that. The singer showed up to MISTR’s second annual National PrEP Day party at The Abbey on October 10 in a very gothic, very Christina outfit that had the blue step-and-repeat looking a little underdressed.

She wore a sheer black bodysuit scattered with cross motifs in different sizes, layered over a lacy lingerie-style bra with scalloped edges and narrow straps. Underneath she went with black leather high-waisted briefs with lace-up sides, and thin ribbon-like straps dangled from her hips. Skin-toned fishnet tights peeked out from the garters, which connected to a pair of black thigh-high boots. The boots had pointed toes, slim stiletto heels and diagonal bands that alternated with sheer panels, so they looked a bit like wrapped lace-ups. She kept her jewelry minimal, with a few rings and a couple of dark nails to match.

Her platinum blonde hair was long and loosely waved, falling well past her shoulders. For makeup, she went with a smoky, silvery eye and glossy nude lips.

If you know Christina from “Genie in a Bottle,” “Dirrty” and “Burlesque,” none of this will come as a shock. She’s been leaning back into her edgier side lately, and she’s still one of pop’s best at making a statement. She also had a fun moment with another party guest: a photo from the night shows her cuddled up with Chappell Roan, who wore her own head-turning outfit. You can see Chappell Roan’s red striped latex dress at the same party if you missed it.

MISTR is a telehealth platform focused on HIV prevention, and the party is about raising awareness and making PrEP easier to get. The first edition at The Abbey last year included a surprise performance from Dua Lipa. This year’s guest list also included Charli xcx, Kesha, Demi Lovato, Kim Petras, Tove Lo and Emily Ratajkowski.
