Daisy Edgar-Jones Turns Vintage Chloé Into Two Very Different New York Looks Ahead of “Sense and Sensibility”

Daisy Edgar-Jones is on a roll with the vintage pieces, and New York got two more of them. Between press stops for “Sense and Sensibility,” the actress was photographed in a pair of Chloé Spring 1999 tops, each styled in a totally different way.

The first look was all about contrast. She wore a Chloé eagle top with a white body, navy three-quarter raglan sleeves and a big, airbrushed eagle portrait across the chest, which gave off serious ’90s sports tee energy. She paired it with pale blue satin shorts trimmed in a thin band of white lace, giving the outfit a lingerie-inspired twist that somehow worked with the baseball-style top. White pointed pumps finished it off, adding a polished, slightly cheeky edge. She was reportedly on her way to a taping of the “Today” show on October 12.

Then came the second look, and it was a lot brighter. This time she went for a soft pink-and-white Chloé top, also from Spring 1999, with a delicate hummingbird and flower painted across the front in warm peachy tones. She teamed it with chartreuse Versace Jeans Couture leather pants, high-shine with a zip slit at the hem, and strappy metallic sandals. The color clash between the pastel top and the acid-bright leather was exactly what made it work.

Her hair stayed the same in both looks: long, loose auburn waves with full, face-framing bangs. Makeup was soft and understated, with a hint of pink on the cheeks.

If you know Daisy from “Normal People” and “Twisters,” you’ll know she’s one of the most reliably stylish people on a press tour. She plays Elinor Dashwood in the new “Sense and Sensibility,” directed by Georgia Oakley and written by Diana Reid. It opens in the US on October 16, and she’s been dressing the part all month. She wore something far darker earlier this month, too, and you can read about Daisy Edgar-Jones in Schiaparelli on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
