New couple on the block Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas were spotted showing public displays of affection on a LA street.

The 20 year old model and 25 year old 'Jonas Brothers' singer have been friends for a long time, and have taken their friendship to the next level.

In an interview in October 2014, Gigi was cited saying that it would be really ridiculous if she started dating Joe Jonas.

Gigi recently broke up with on/off boyfriend Cody Simpson with whom she posed for Mario Testino's Towel Series.

Joe is also Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend, Gigi being one of Taylor's best friends and has also appeared in her Bad Blood Music Video, and it's a common friend rule not to date ones ex.

The model bore her midriff for the outing, in a cropped top and high-wasted leggings with zipper details, and topped off her style with a pair of chic tinted Ray-Ban shades and a knit sweater wrapped around her shoulders.

Joe was dressed in head to to black, opting for jeans, sneakers and a faux leather top.

Rumours are around that Cody Simpson drunk-dialled Gigi when he heard that she has been dating Joe Jonas.
