Tiramisu Blonde - The Hottest Hair Trend for the Holidays

The hottest hair color for the season include lots of dark and delicious shades of chocolate and brown. As the weather starts to transition to cool and cold, warmth in the hair looks absolutely gorgeous. Tiramisu - a widely popular dessert, became the inspiration for hair color last year when Tiramisu Brown became the go to hair color for Fall and Winter. This season Tiramisu continues to rule - both the dessert and the hair color - as debuted by actress Emma Roberts for the Holiday season. Her 'holiday hue tiramisu' highlights on her natural blonde hair were created by hairstylist and co-owner of Nine Zero One Salon in Los Angeles, Nikki Lee.

Roberts' hair became the talk of the town, and the actress, who has had light hair for the majority of her acting career, just this September, the actress was spotted at the Hulu Tell Me Lies screening with a platinum blonde hair look that was perfect for the warmer months with its buttery hue. As the cold holiday season came upon, Roberts and Lee worked together to cool down her hair color as well, and instead of opting for an overall darker color for the winter, Lee added lowlights throughout Roberts's hair with a deepened down root color for the beautiful new hair color. Taking the internet by storm, Lee describes her creation on Roberts as a 'holiday hue tiramisu', and it is simply irresistible for blondes who want to keep their vivid blonde while also wanting to give their hair some cool tones for the cold season.

As seen on Emma Roberts in the Instagram post, her new hair color was paired with an ensemble that included an ornate yellow coat, a sheer black dress, and rosy lips. The Tiramisu Blonde is the most-talked about and most-happening shade for the fall/winter season, though it does not resemble a typical tiramisu dessert with layers of highlights. The Tiramisu Blonde is created with dark roots that are reminiscent of the top espresso layer of tiramisu cake, while the contrasting bright blonde and lowlights resemble the lady finger biscuit and mascarpone cheese layers of the delicious tiramisu dessert.

"Holiday hue tiramisu is a great switch up for all the blondies out there. Instead of feeling like you need to tone down for fall/winter, add some rich depth at the root and a few lowlights like I did on Emma here. It allows you to keep all the rest of your bright blonde pieces. It’s a fun, subtle change and gives your hair a little break too." - Nikki Lee

Another advantage that the Tiramisu Blonde hair color gives you, along with adding depth to your current blonde shade, is that it prolongs your color job if you have naturally dark hair as any root grow-out will blend into the deep espresso layer. So if you want to have some hair color fun for the season, while staying subtle, take a leaf our of Roberts' book, and and opt for this gorgeous and lip-smacking dessert-inspired hair color for the holiday season.
