Florence Pugh Wore Rodarte Fall 2026 and Bulgari Jewels to the East of Eden Premiere in London

Florence Pugh brought her East of Eden press tour to a dramatic close at the London premiere on September 25, held at BAFTA. The Oscar-nominated actress, who stars as Cathy Ames and also co-produces the Netflix limited series, showed up in a gown that matched the story's darker themes far more than her earlier stops on the tour.

Pugh wore a voluminous black gown from Rodarte's Fall 2026 collection, designed by sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy and inspired by Dario Argento's 1977 horror film Suspiria. The crushed black taffeta was built from bundled ruffles throughout, with off-the-shoulder sleeves that leaned into a slightly Victorian, gothic shape. A cinched waist gave the silhouette structure before the skirt burst into a crumpled, layered mass of fabric with a short train trailing behind her on the red carpet.

She added color through her jewelry and makeup rather than the dress itself, wearing a diamond and ruby choker necklace with a large central gemstone. Her makeup matched that same energy, with a deep ruby-red lip, defined brows and softly lined eyes. Her hair was slicked back into a sleek, swept-up style that kept the focus on the dress's dramatic shoulders.

This wraps a run of Rodarte moments throughout the East of Eden tour, styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray. Earlier in the week, Pugh wore a coordinated look from the label's Fall 2019 collection to a photocall and Q&A at the British Library, pairing an iridescent pleated blouse and wide-leg trousers with roughly $9,200 in Bulgari tubogas earrings. She's also worn pieces by Dior, Chloé and Vivienne Westwood throughout the promotional run. East of Eden, Zoe Kazan's adaptation of the John Steinbeck novel, also stars Christopher Abbott and Mike Faist and premieres on Netflix October 1.
